My Sculpting Continues

 I am still continuing to work on my figure sculpting. I have two more figures to add to the crew and two more that I am working on. I picked up a couple more rubber stoppers, as to have four more sets of figure  armatures ready to start on the other half of this crew.

The starting crew will consist on of;

 A Captain.

First Officer.

Two Science Members of different Science backgrounds.

Two Medical Members one Doctor, one Medic.

Two Engineers of different Engineering backgrounds.

One Security Officer.

Two Ship's Security Members. (No Red Shirts will be issued) 😆

One Communications Member.

This is to get things going and to be able to start gaming with on the table. Of course backgrounds for each character need to be written up and stats made. But it will be a good size team to start. I may think of adding more members later.

So Here is the two newest members;

GZG Figure for Scale

Hopefully I can get around to finish their bases and painting them soon. I still need to make their ship or at lease some kind of a floor plan.

Additional Sculpted Figures

 I am still working my hand at sculpting figures. I am working on making a crew for a Starship with all the figures in on style of uniform.  So I really liked the look of the Old "Battlestar Galactica" of the 80's look.

This is still a learning exercise for me and with each one I feel things are getting better. Still need to work more with faces and that is coming along with more time and practice. These figures are still worth gaming with as the crew and with some paint will look even better.

I did learned to use a larger gage wire for the legs I started with 28 gage and that seemed to bendy for the legs. I instead use 24 gage wire for the legs and still used 28 gage for the arms. the legs are much more stiffer now and I am very happy with the results.

So Here is my results so far compared with a GZG figure

I am going to make 8 figure for sure but I have plans for 12. I feel that would make for a very good size ships crew.  I hope to have the other figures done some time very soon and have them painted in the colors of the 1980's Battlestar Galactica Uniforms. They should look great gaming on the table with all the adventures I have instore for them!
