I have the exterior of the ship painted now, the next step will to give some washes and high lighting and weathering effects but I want to show pictures before moving on to the next stage kind of a before and after.
This going to be picture heavy so enjoy.
I am very pleased with this project, I can use this process for other gaming terrain for buildings, dungeons and sewers for fantasy games, buildings and temples for Pulp games, just so much more!
Welcome to Silo 1313 My hope and intentions are to inspire those to create gaming terrain for SCI-FI Wargaming and RPG Gaming in 15mm using old school modeling of wood, paper, wire and any other everyday items. Helpful hints for those of us who are on a limited budget, Plus talk about games I enjoy playing.

Small Cargo Spaceship part 5
I have this project built and I have begun painting it. I have the interior painted now and working on the exterior.
So here are some pictures of the interior as of now, It is currently painted as new fresh off the showroom floor. I will start to weather it after I finish the first round of painting.
Control Panels,
Weapons Turret,
Airlock,
Interior over all,
Everything is coming along nicely painting is going much faster then the construction of this project.
I learned a lot from this build so far and can't wait to start another one!

Small Cargo Spaceship Part 4
Haven't had as much time as too what I was hoping to have, but I did manage to get some work on done on this project. I did get the engines exhaust system built and added on and some work around the section as well.
Left and Right engines.

Some Grill work waiting to be framed out.
I hope to get more done this coming weekend, so check back to see more coming soon!

Small Cargo Spaceship Update Part 3
I have had some time to work on this project some more. All the interior is done now and all of the main hull is done now as well. Now I have been working on the out rigging and engines section.
Here is the over all view looking top down
Exterior Air Lock hatch.
The Bridge Control Panels.
The nose of the ship side view.
Front of the nose of the ship.
One of the engine sections out riggings, foam core board and covered in white printing paper to cove the expose foam for attaching panels.
I have to cover all of the engine sections with panels before I begin painting. I was hoping to have it done by this weekend but it looks like that will have to wait for another time.

Small Cargo Spaceship Part 1
I got the idea from one of the members "CookandrewB" over at Lead Adventure Forum to make a modular spaceship a Bridge Section, Cargo Section, Engine Section and a Midship Section that would allow for adding additional space left and right of the ship. By making four each of each section with add ons, then one can have a fair combination of ships to explore that are adrift or sitting in a spaceport.
I thought I would start with a smaller ship, so here is my progress so far.

I have more work to do but it's a great start.
UPDATE.
This is the ship I was kind of shooting for;
I wanted some extra room for the Crew's Quarters and I wanted something that looked like a weapons turret so I came up with something that looks more like a Gun Tub from old naval ships.

Welcome to the Jungle!
I have always Thought about making jungle terrain, I have seen people make their terrain using CD discs, odd shaped sections of MDF, large washers and alike, then I had an idea why not make the jungle like one would make dungeon tiles, or along the lines of space ship tiles, the only thing is that the tile would be the jungle and your players would have to move around them. Basicly just follow the path!
I would make them in 2 inch squares
2x2 square will be the base of all the rest, others would be "L" shape, "I" shape, "T" shape "X" shape and 4x4 square.
I would use Aquarium plastic plants, HO scale Palm Trees, HO scale Bamboo plants, HO scale plastic Trees, and Brown model ship rigging line for vines and will use cheap paint brush brisles for tall grass.
The idea of jungle terrain is to make an impassable area. One could almost make a maze using this idea.
Area of gaming wold be great for Pulp Games, Modern Games, Jungle Planet Games.

Project on Paper
Okay so far it is just a project that's only on paper so far but it's taking on shape, my idea is to create a set of octagon pieces so that I may lay them out in pretty much any pattern I choose. They can be a Space Station, or reconfigure it to be a colony on a planet somewhere, really anything I wish them to be by adding little or more depending on the size I wish.
So here is the start of the idea,
So I hope from the photo you get the picture, I will have to build some junction boxes of connecting points to make all work as well.
We I hope this gives everyone some ideas.
